Jon Hester builds on the success of the first release on his new Participation label with a second standout offering, this time in the form of two collaborative tracks with underground mainstay Cassy.

Opening up Jon Hester & Cassy’s ‘Participation 002’ is 'Modulaaaa', a powerful big room track, but one that keeps it classy with smart builds towards epic moments. It’s part of a seven-minute journey, powered by chunky drums and raw percussion with trippy atmospheres rising up while its bassline stays steady throughout.

'Purple' is up next, a tough yet stylish groove designed to rock a party to its core, featuring busy percussive patterns and wonky synth lines that dart about the mix with their own unhinged energy. Add some snatched vocal yelps and buzzy textures, and you have a highly potent dancefloor weapon.
